So what is Tencel?
Tencel is a textile fibre made from beechwood cellulose from sustainably managed forests. The fact that it’s manufactured using an environmentally-friendly process makes it the perfect choice for those keen to enjoy comfort – and promote sustainability.
Temperature regulation
Tencel keeps you comfortable all year round whatever the temperature, staying cool in summer and warm during winter. What is more, Tencel is twice as absorbent as cotton.
Hypoallergenic
Tencel boasts anti-dust mite and anti-bacterial properties and is naturally hypoallergenic – a boon for the most sensitive skins. Bacteria spread two thousand times slower on Tencel than on synthetic fibre and ten times slower than on cotton.
Sustainable
Requiring twenty times less water than cotton to manufacture, Tencel is both strong and easy-care; it doesn’t shrink and keeps all its softness and colour, even after multiple washes.
Easy-care
Tencel regenerated cellulose fibre is a key ally when it comes to choosing your bed linen: it’s light, flexible, and almost impossible to crease. Night after night, your bedclothes will still look immaculate.
